Have you ever wondered what happens to all the wine corks used in the world?  After all, cork does come from tree bark and if there was a way to reuse all of the wine corks in the world we could really reduce the amount of cork needed to be harvested each year. 

In Europe and Autralia wine corks have been recycled for years. We are now pleased to report that wine corks can now be recycled in the US.  Yemm & Hart have started to recycle wine corks into cork flooring and other useful products.  We think this is good news and encourage all wine drinkers to save your cork tops for recycling into beautiful cork flooring products.
